The Wave of Indus is the logo story for the Dialogue on the Indus Waters Treaty 2026, convened by Tiesverse Foundation.
The logo is built around a flowing wave that is simultaneously the flow of the Indus and an ancient scroll, bringing together the river, its civilisational history and the Treaty that came to govern its waters.
Its elements include the wave, mountains, fish, Priest-King, Dancing Girl and Harappan geometric motifs, connecting the Treaty to a much older civilisational story.
The Treaty was signed in Karachi, Pakistan on 19 September 1960, making 19 September 2026 the 66th anniversary of its signing.
The core message is that terror and cooperation cannot coexist, and that any future flow of water depends on the flow of trust.
